It's Clifton and it's the first show of the season, some corps is lining up backfield beyond the glare of the lights.
The buzz in the crowd is "who is that, we can't quite make them out".
Just then they start to emerge from under the lights, wearing orange tunic tops that are ablaze in the night.
They're introduced as "The Sunrisers!" ... and yet the crowd is still perplexed.
Callled to attention, the DM then starts the corps with a bari and contra duet that is quickly joined by a soprano. As the horns and drums wrap around the trio, all hell breaks loose at FFF. The crowd is on its feet being blown away, still wondering ..."who the hell are these guys?"
While members of other corps are hanging on the track fence shaking their heads.......muttering...."theyr'e back...."
